Tracks Through Pastures – New Website

Rocoja are proudly a small consultancy that works predominantly with non-profits, community interest companies, small businesses and individuals to deliver website experiences that are not only interesting and engaging but worthwhile and impeccably crafted.

Below is a step by step account of our newest site – www.TracksThroughPastures.org

TRACKS

Client

Tracks Through Pastures is a Surrey based charity. They provide Animal assisted, professional, therapeutic services, working with, and alongside nature and animals.

The Animal Assisted Interaction this charity provides, supports social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) in adults, the elderly and children.

What Was Needed.

It was important that the new website would appeal to individuals, businesses and potential users of the service they provide. It would also need to bring information to potential volunteers and donors.

The site would also be used to share information such as policy’s and ways the service can be utilised, alongside how donations can be made and how news can be accessed.

  • There was a second important point of this new website – to bring the related CIC (www.kingswoodshetlands.org) under one umbrella, so the founders do not need to manage 2 websites / 2 renewals / 2 sets of updates etc through the year. So the challenge was to enable this to happen.

Website

With the charity highlighting that a primary aim of the website was to attract visitors and encourage volunteers and donations, it was clear the new website needed to be natural looking, inviting, informative, mobile responsive and optimised with persuasive content. All the while with clear calls to action and full social media integration.

The Solution

Rocoja worked in close collaboration with the charity director to create a website that used the existing branding.

*Rocoja offers a full branding service without charge for website clients, but on this occasion the charity had already decided upon the colours / logo.

We worked to personalise the site, doing this by showcasing both the enthusiastic team of volunteers and individuals that make up the team behind Tracks Through Pastures, and the amazing animals that support the users of this service.

The site was also opened up to include a helpful blog / articles section – which will grow to offer helpful animal / therapeutic / geographic related advice & news.

KWS new logo

This site was then tacked onto the Tracks Through Pastures Site – with its own branding / style (completely different – BUT very in sync with the main website) to retain a fluid flow if site users decided to look through the menu tabs, rather than come from the Kingswood Shetlands domain itself.

The Kingswood domain was redirected to the new page / site, so the client could then discard the yearly hosting / maintenance fees for the original site. Saving hundreds of vital pounds!

The Results

The Rocoja team have already added articles to the website, helping the content to remain fresh and appealing. The “Donate Us” button is prompting clicks on Tracks Through Pastures – whereas on Kingswood Shetlands page – you can actually donate to provide food / shelter for specific animals .

The site has already been shared on socials and everyone is happy.
